About The Position

The Administrative Assistant II, Curriculum and Faculty Support, within the Registrar’s Office, will perform complex duties supporting undergraduate education committees, such as the Committee on the Undergraduate Program, and two curriculum development grants: the d’Arbeloff Fund and Education Innovation Funds. This role involves managing meeting logistics, drafting reports and policies, researching educational policy issues, and serving as a primary contact for grant applicants and recipients. Additionally, the position will assist with website content updates, schedule complex appointments, and handle general office recordkeeping and special projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Three years of office experience, preferably in higher education
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities across diverse groups
  • Strong time management to prioritize concurrent projects under deadlines
  • Meticulous accuracy with confidential data
  • Proficient with software
  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a hybrid environment

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings and compose notes for committees.
  • Draft reports, policies, and correspondence.
  • Research educational policy issues to brief faculty committees.
  • Manage meeting schedules, logistics (rooms, remote setup, food), and physical/digital archives.
  • Help develop production calendars for grants.
  • Serve as the primary contact for grant applicants, recipients, and alumni.
  • Maintain proposal records, tracking databases, and collect submissions.
  • Draft funding guidelines and award letters and collect final reports.
  • Collaborate to update website content.
  • Schedule complex appointments for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Handle office recordkeeping, supply inventory, backup coverage, and special projects.
