About The Position

This position provides clerical office support and paraprofessional or technical work under the general direction of the Non-Fair Events Manager. The role involves exercising independent judgment within established program rules and policies. It also performs bookkeeping functions for non-fair facility rentals, assists the manager with administrative projects, and serves as backup for the ISF Buildings and Grounds Liaison for the Non-Fair events unit. The position is a union position, and provisions of the relevant collective bargaining agreement/labor contract apply. Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in public or business administration.
  • Requires one year of professional experience in a public or private organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
  • Requires completion of a name-based background screening and self-disclosure of criminal history.
  • Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties.
  • Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.
  • Overtime is a condition of employment, and you may be requested or required/mandated to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime. This requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Requires intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, proficiency in software, including but not limited to, computer software for monetary transactions and Adobe Experience or similar programs.

Responsibilities

  • Performs bookkeeping functions associated with non-fair facility rentals.
  • Assists the Non-Fair Events Manager with various administrative projects.
  • Serves as the backup for the ISF Buildings and Grounds Liaison for the Non-Fair events unit.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
