About The Position

This position assists and supports the Waiver Unit and other staff within the Medicaid waiver work stream and also coordinates with other administrative support staff within the region to ensure administrative functions are conducted timely to promote Regional operations. Requirements

  • Two years experience providing administrative support in a professional office setting.
  • Knowledge of: The ABC data system, iBudget system, Excel spread sheets, lotus notes, Zix mail, Power Point
  • Ability to: Compile, organize and analyze data.
  • Provide technical assistance in a human services program.
  • Plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relations with others.
  • Complete all fields in the Candidate Profile, including their work history with the month and year.
  • Participate in the Direct Deposit Program.
  • Undergo Level 2 employment screening.
  • Complete the online application process.

Responsibilities

  • Photocopies request documentation, returning originals to requestor or fax/mail/file per request. This should be done within 1 business day of request. Review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Organizes and maintains records, filling systems and tracking systems. Reviews data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepares spreadsheets for Medicaid Waiver unit’s submission. Reviews for typographical-grammatical errors to ensure timely and quality work products.
  • Processes the transfer and receipt of the consumer's Central Record within 5 working days, forwards records to units with required time frames and maintains a transfer log.
  • Serves as backup to Suncoast Region’s Ft. Myers Field Office clerical staff by answering phones, routing complex inquiries to appropriate staff for responses.
  • Prepares travel vouchers for unit staff for reimbursement, maintains copies of all travel vouchers and returns to liaison within two days.
  • Processes all unit mail twice daily, including outgoing mail to Waiver Support Coordinators, APD staff and returned Medicaid Summary of Services.
  • Participates in staff meetings, workshops, training sessions and meetings as assigned.
  • Acts as back up for WSC selection process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
