About The Position

Colorado Visiting Nurse Association (CVNA) has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant I. This role provides assistance with general clerical projects including filing, copying, data entry and other supportive administrative tasks. It also provides administrative support for managers or departments including report preparation, taking messages, and responding to emails. The position involves maintaining files and record keeping systems, preparing routine reports and correspondence, and performing basic data entry into database applications. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant I will arrange appointments, greet visitors, assist in meeting preparation, and may handle incoming and outgoing mailings. Backup coverage to the Receptionist is also a responsibility, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: One year relevant work experience.
  • Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance with general clerical projects including filing, copying, data entry and other supportive administrative tasks.
  • Provides administrative support for managers or departments including report preparation, taking messages, responding to emails.
  • Files, copies and maintains files and record keeping systems.
  • Assists with the preparation of routine reports, correspondence and other documents.
  • Performs basic data entry into database applications.
  • Arranges appointments and greets visitors.
  • Assists in preparation for meetings.
  • May handle incoming and outgoing mailings.
  • Provides backup coverage to Receptionist as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
