The position supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication, handles confidential and time-sensitive material, and is familiar with various administrative concepts, practices, and procedures. Effective communication via phone and email is essential, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness. Responsibilities also include attending meetings and taking minutes, potentially managing physician credentialing, directing and leading the work of others, managing and coordinating administrative programs and office activities, creating spreadsheets, managing databases, and preparing presentations, reports, and documents. The role includes answering telephones, taking messages, transferring calls, covering the reception desk when required, calendar management, scheduling appointments, updating calendars, and arranging staff meetings.
