About The Position

Amwaste of Georgia is seeking a dedicated and organized Fleet Management Associate to support our Fleet Manager by handling a variety of office and clerical tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our fleet operations while developing your skills in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and eager to learn Dossier Trucking Software to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing technology
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Prior experience in office administration or clerical work is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Dossier Truck Software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office and clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Assist the Fleet Manager with scheduling, correspondence, and administrative support
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, vehicle logs, and maintenance schedules
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Dossier Trucking Software, and Excel to track fleet performance and other key metrics
  • Draft and edit documents, memos, and communications using Word
  • Learn and adapt to new trucking and fleet management software systems
  • Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and other departments as needed
