About The Position

The Cross Family of Agencies is seeking a talented and experienced Benefits Administrative Assistant for their Manchester, NH office. This role supports a dedicated team by assisting with various administrative duties, including TPA renewals, compliance document review and creation, database updates using Salesforce, RFP generation, and open enrollment materials. The position also involves servicing claim issues by working closely with carriers and account managers. The company is a full-service benefits partner focusing on employee benefits nationwide, with a strong presence in NH, VT, and MA.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience
  • Familiarity with Employee Benefits functionality
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • In depth knowledge or understanding of Employee Benefits Plans and their functionality (Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, Cafeteria Plans, HSA, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
  • Experience in an Employee Benefits setting
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with TPA renewals
  • Assist with Compliance Document review and creation

  • Service claim issues, working closely with carriers and the dedicated account manager for resolution
