About The Position

Assist Credit Administrator with the preparation of loan committee meetings, and monthly loan officer meetings. Provide clerical support for loans made by Credit Administrator and to the Special Asset Department. Prepare and distribute correspondence related to collections/bankruptcy process.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally stand and walk.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with loan packet submissions for Senior Loan Review (SLR) and Executive Loan Committee (ELC).
  • Organize and correct packets as needed on a weekly basis.
  • Document and distribute all approved loan requests from SLR/Credit Administration.
  • Process, balance, and maintain files for recovery on charged off accounts.
  • Submit charged off accounts to collections or legal counsel for recovery efforts.
  • Research bankruptcies on bank customers.
  • Process and submit forms relating to bank’s security position and/or provide legal counsel with necessary documentation.
  • Document and track judgments.
  • Submit reports and other data for Bank audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Track exceptions to loan policy as well as other data from SLR/ELC as deemed necessary by Credit Administration.
  • Assist with loan clerk duties for senior lending officers when necessary.
