Requirements

1 to 3 years of healthcare-related experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong documentation, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
1 – 3 years healthcare credentialing experience preferred.
Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts.
Documentation, proficiency, attention to detail, and organization skills are essential.
Ability to multi-task is a must.

Nice To Haves

BA/BS degree preferred.
1 to 3 years of healthcare credentialing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to facility leadership and staff.
Manage calendars, meetings, communications, and office operations.
Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
Maintain confidential records and databases.
Coordinate provider credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollments.
Verify credentials, track renewals, and maintain compliance documentation.
Collaborate with payers, billing teams, and contracting departments to resolve credentialing and enrollment issues.
Support special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
May be responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.
May direct and lead the work of others.
May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.
Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.
Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.
May cover the reception desk.
Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings.
Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
