Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as prioritization, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately
  • Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frames
  • Must have basic math, calculator, and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in an Administrative or Laboratory role
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and/or Billing
  • Experience working in the construction / civil engineering industry
  • Experience dispatching and/or scheduling field personnel
  • Experience and familiarity working with Microsoft Office suite
  • American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification is preferred (example: aggregate, concrete, masonry)

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of laboratory testing under general supervision.
  • Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting.
  • Work utilizing standards, specifications, and diagrams.
  • Maintain and calibrate standard equipment.
  • Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software and perform general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
  • Assist with end of month billing, proposals, projects, accruals Accounts Receivable, Collections.
  • May assist with developing, updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/or work instructions.
  • Understands and uses effective research methodologies to identify and qualify potential clients.
  • Monitor and maintain information on research made and possible leads and communicate to Operations Management.
  • Coordinate with field operations and drilling crews.
  • Prepare work orders for field operations.
  • Monitor timesheets for hourly, field employees.
