About The Position

Johnstone Supply in Easton, PA is seeking a detail-oriented full-time Administrative – Accounting Specialist to ensure smooth operations. This role involves supporting accounting and administrative functions, managing overhead accounts payable, maintaining accurate vendor records, expense reports, and credit card statements. The specialist will also interact with internal teams and external partners, manage contracts and service agreements, oversee fleet-related details, and assist with executive projects. The position requires balancing multiple priorities, protecting sensitive information, supporting compliance, and refining processes for efficient business office operations. Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and follow through
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manage overhead accounts payable from start to finish, ensuring invoices are properly documented, approved, and paid
  • Ensure vendor records, expense reports, and credit card statements remain accurate and up to date
  • Stay connected with internal teams and outside partners
  • Manage contracts and service agreements
  • Oversee fleet-related details like registrations and insurance claims
  • Support executive projects as needed
  • Balance multiple priorities
  • Protect sensitive information
  • Support compliance efforts
  • Refine processes so the business office operates efficiently and without interruption
