About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. The Executive Administrator will provide administrative support to the government Deputy Director for Partnership & Engagement. This is a mission-critical role that blends executive office management with strategic support, ensuring the Deputy Director can focus on leadership and decision making. This position will work onsite in Crystal City, VA. Customer site is easily accessible via Crystal City Metro Station and Crystal City Train Station (VRE).

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • 3 or more experience in a similar role within the Department of War.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Government GS-15/O-6.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and synchronize complex calendars across multiple organizations.
  • Prioritize competing demands, high-visibility meetings, and mission deadlines.
  • Anticipate conflicts and proactively adjust priorities.
  • Help review and route official correspondence and taskers.
  • Manage sensitive and classified information with discretion.
  • Assist with the preperation of agendas, briefing books, read-ahead materials, and action-item trackers.
  • Coordinate protocol requirements and logistics.
  • Schedule domestic and international travel.
  • Prepare authorizations and vouchers in DTA.
  • Identify foreign travel requirements, country clearances, passports, and security documentation when applicable.
  • Track organizational initiatives and leadership priorities.
