About The Position

As an administration technician - group savings, you will analyze and process transactions in loans or investment vehicles such as: guaranteed investment certificates, SSQ Separate Funds and annuities for investors, brokers, representatives, pension fund managers, and investment managers. You will also process investment transactions on an individual or collective basis depending on the product type: TFSA, RRSP, RRIF, INV, RRSP, LIF. You will perform the following functions: Carry out the work related to the analysis and processing of loan or investment transactions requested by the client. Apply the administrative procedures necessary to minimize risks. Apply the tax rules related to the processing of loan, investment, redemption, and transfer transactions, etc. Provide or request information by telephone, interview, or correspondence regarding loan or investment transactions to advisors or clients from within or outside the Company. Conduct the necessary research to follow up on information requested by telephone, interview, or correspondence. Meet with various people from the Company to obtain the necessary information in relation to the activities of the management. Operate a microcomputer to receive and transmit information to management systems. Participate in collective work organized by management.

Requirements

  • College diploma in a field relevant to the function.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written French.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, due to the nature of the tasks, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers, or to meet the company's growth objectives (bilingualism).
  • Selected candidates will be required to take an English test.
