About The Position

The Administrative Support Specialist provides comprehensive administrative, financial, and research support services for the Carolina Institute for Neurodevelopmental Disorders. This position is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and managing faculty research-related financial activities, including the receipt, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of sponsored project funds, contracts, and other funding sources. The position serves as a key liaison among faculty investigators, the Center, and the departmental business offices. The Administrative Support Specialist will provide administrative support to Center leadership and faculty affiliated with the Center, maintain confidential financial and administrative records, and develop and maintain tracking systems, databases, and reporting tools to support Center operations and research activities.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive administrative, financial, and research support services experience.
  • Experience coordinating, monitoring, and managing financial activities.
  • Experience with receipt, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of sponsored project funds, contracts, and other funding sources.
  • Experience serving as a liaison among investigators, centers, and business offices.
  • Experience providing administrative support to leadership and affiliated faculty.
  • Experience maintaining confidential financial and administrative records.
  • Experience developing and maintaining tracking systems, databases, and reporting tools.
