About The Position

This position is for an Administrative Staff - Trainer in the Training Department. The role involves assisting with the administration, development, and training of company policies, procedures, and certifications. The trainer will also be responsible for making presentations and performing training for individuals and groups, demonstrating and advising on proper techniques and practices, and learning, training, and certifying associates on warehouse and HMA required PIVs and processes. Additionally, the role includes learning, training, and administering master associate certifications, filing, and performing other Associate Services duties as directed. The position requires active support of the Associate Training Program and NC Circles, and adherence to all rules and policies.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize assigned tasks effectively
  • Ability to use sound judgment and initiative to accomplish all job duties and assignments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, pen-manship, associate relations, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize duties
  • Willing and able to continue training and development on existing systems or programs as needed
  • Able to make presentations and perform training to individual and groups
  • Valid driver’s license, with no traffic violations and willingness to operate PIV’s when required
  • Excellent attendance, good attitude, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Able to follow specific instructions and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other associates
  • Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines

  • Able to work a flexible work schedule between 1st and 2nd Shift
  • Associate’s degree or 2-3+ years equivalent experience
  • Able to interact professionally within the company with our customer and associates
  • Must not have less than 3.5 points during the time of the posting

  • Must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service (Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period)
  • Must not have received any formal written occurrences other than attendance during the past 12 months
  • Cannot have received a transfer from an internal posting from Division to Division within the past 12 months
  • Cannot be on an active AIP

  • Able to work in a Warehouse Environment which consists of walking on concrete floors, and wearing Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, bump caps, shin guards and any other required Safety or PPE

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration, development, and training of company policies, procedures, and certifications
  • Make presentations and perform training to individual and groups
  • Demonstrate and advise on proper techniques and practices of all processes and jobs when developing the training material for the positions being taught
  • Learn, train, and certify associates on all warehouse and HMA required PIVs and processes
  • Learn, train, and administer master associate certifications as needed
  • File and do other Associate Services duties as directed and required
  • Support special projects and programs as assigned
  • Lead project teams and present information to management
