Easterseals MORC is hiring for an Administrative Operations Specialist - Centralized Scheduler to help make a difference and become part of something bigger than yourself! Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivilent
At least two years experience in a full time clerical role; healthcare preferred

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ability to engage consumers in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery.
Demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Input, update, and maintain the calendar availability.
Answer calls via the centralized scheduling phone queue and assist callers with their requests.
Complete requests in the centralized scheduling email and voicemail.
Answer calls, verify authorizations, verify active insurance, and schedule appointments with an active authorization as appropriate. May be responsible for answering and triaging internal and external telephone calls as needed.
Maintain the staff appointment schedule in the EHR, make and change appointments, and conduct follow-up phone calls to minimize “no shows.”
Serve as backup for reception.
