About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Centralized Scheduler to join their Centralized Scheduling Department at their Crestline location. This role is responsible for arranging the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and individuals who require hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures. The scheduler will ensure patient information is collected accurately, patients are informed of hospital policies, and will interview incoming patients or their representatives to enter required admission information into the computer database. Additionally, they will distribute relevant information to ancillary departments and participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Requirements

Previous experience dealing with customers.
High School diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience or education working with financial accounts.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in business/accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and admission of individuals who have hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.
Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.
