About The Position

The Admin MIS Support position manages the day-to-day administration, data integrity, user support, and document control for AFCENT Force Protection equipment maintenance activities across the AOR, including Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and other contingency locations as directed. The MIS is a single source, web-based, system used to track and schedule Work Orders, inventory, training, shipping and other information for accurate reporting and lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required
  • At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience administering, maintaining, or supporting web-based management information systems, maintenance-management systems, inventory databases, logistics systems, or similar enterprise applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and database/reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required; verifiable in JPAS
  • Must successfully pass a drug screen, medical clearance, and a background check
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

  • knowledge or experience in electromechanical repair or general equipment maintenance and repair in addition to inventory or warehousing management

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the MIS as the central system for program management reports and information, maintenance tracking, inventory records, warranty information, training documentation, and contract document storage.
  • Manage Work Order and Maintenance Data for Shaw AFB and OCONUS locations ensuring all entries capture the work-order number, equipment/system name, serial number, site location, operational status and other required information.
  • Manage Equipment and Inventory database entries to foster accurate location, status and reporting of other critical and required information generated through the MIS dashboard and Ad-Hoc reports.
  • Support physical inventories, annual inventory updates, discrepancy reconciliation, inventory adjustment documentation and final disposition.
  • Coordinates, advises and assists OCONUS Field Service Representatives (FSR) to ensure timely updates to work orders, inventory, tool/equipment/parts/consumable status are accurate, comprehensive and complete.
  • Manage shipping and receiving information; generate reports to accurately communicate across Government and contractor partners.
  • Analyze all aspects of the program to identify and implement corrective action to ensure Maintenance Control, Program Management, Quality Control, and Life Cycle Management Plan objectives are met.
