About The Position

Be part of the excitement and join our Strategic Operations team! This role is expected to provide administrative support to our growing Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Team. Strategic Operations brings together Washington Operations, Marketing & Communications, and Future Capabilities to align our strategic functions, pool expertise, and expand our impact across Space & Mission Systems. By strengthening collaboration, integrating market-facing activities, and connecting with our strategic business and capability units, we position the company to influence markets, engage customers, and drive sustainable growth and success. We are looking for an ambitious Administrative Associate who is highly organized, proficient in time management, an effective communicator and comfortable interacting with all levels of management. The selected candidate will provide a range of administrative work assignments for our MarCom team members.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 year or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience.
  • Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Department’s overall Team as required by managing and performing a wide variety of administrative tasks for team members.
  • Manage and facilitate a high volume of travel booking, expense reports and supplies purchases for this group, including tracking appropriate charge codes.
  • Make travel arrangements and reservations in compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Prepare business expense reports using Concur including local business and domestic/international travel reports.
  • Set-up and facilitate meetings with proficiency; order catering when requested.
  • Perform inventory, ordering and stocking of supplies for the unit.
  • Coordinate office moves for new and current program team members (MACs).
  • Schedule interviews, facilitate candidate pick up/drop offs, coordinate with interview panels when assigned.
  • Assist with coordinating engagement events and training for the unit.
  • Perform computer data entry, retrieval, and word processing.
  • Operate other computer software programs and various other types of office equipment.
  • Learn and become proficient in enterprise systems, rules and procedures.
  • Work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company.
  • Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
