The Adjunct Welding Faculty Job Duties and Responsibilities are as follows: Instruct and evaluate Welding Technology courses with an emphasis on hands-on applications. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: • Ensure program alignment with industry-recognized certifications and local industry needs • Understand and comply with UA-PTC policies and procedures • Teach courses in accordance with approved UA-PTC syllabi and academic standards • Participate in the assessment of student learning • Foster partnerships with industry to support program success • Identify equipment and supplies which support the curriculum • Ensure students adhere to safety and disciplinary regulations • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • AWS certification
  • Three years of industry experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platform aptitude, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • AAS Welding or Emphasis in Welding
  • AWS Certification
  • Three to Five years of industry experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, online technology grading platforms, and excellent digital, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Responsibilities
