Requirements

PhD in Music Composition or Music Theory (completed by the start date)
Minimum of two years of university-level music teaching experience, including undergraduate theory and ear training
A firm commitment to the Aims and Mission of BYU
A firm commitment to the mission of the School of Music
Ability to effectively mentor students
Exemplary leadership skills
Classroom management skills
Relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment
