About The Position

BYU's School of Communications is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Comms 337, a management course designed to service the newly approved PR+Advertising program. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty to design and implement the course, mentor students, and teach in-person. This role requires a commitment to BYU's unique mission and values, including supporting its academic and religious objectives. The position requires the candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field, completed by the start date.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in advertising account or brand management.
  • Ability to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • Commitment to BYU's Mission and the Aims of a BYU Education.
  • For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • Must abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
