About The Position

This position involves teaching Advertising Strategy in the newly approved Public Relations + Advertising program within the School of Communications. The course focuses on brand strategy, emphasizing the identification of human insights that drive effective strategies and inspire creative campaigns. Students will learn to look beyond superficial observations to discover deeper truths that connect people and brands. Responsibilities include mentoring students, in-person teaching, and ongoing collaboration with faculty.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field, completed by the start date.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years in advertising strategy.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • Must attach an updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and Mission Alignment Statement.

Nice To Haves

  • Account or brand management experience with brand strategy will also be considered.
