Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Psychology - Psych 349: Positive Psychology (Evening School) Posting Close Date: April 7, 2026 Last day to apply, Monday, April 6, 2026 at 11:59pm (MST) Position Start Date: April 28 2026 Required Degree: MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date. Experience The selected candidate will: Have prior experience with teaching in Positive Psychology is preferred Have the knowledge and ability to teach about the science of well-being Experience in conducting original research in Positive Psychology is preferred Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring Duties/Expectations Responsibilities include: Teach Psych 349: Positive Psychology, topics include purpose, values, gratitude, mindfulness, supportive relationships, flow, transcendence, self-compassion, etc. Help students personally apply evidence-based well-being strategies using an experiential learning paradigm Prepare students to evaluate the research literature on topics in positive psychology Our department values belonging, student mentoring, a collegial culture, and the ideals of open and reproducible research This course will be taught in the Spring Term 2026 on MWF 11:00AM-12:50PM. Requirements
