About The Position

Teach Psych 210: History of Psychology Candidates should also be able to help students critically evaluate the underlying assumptions of these movements and assess their value in sustaining psychology as a viable science for the future. This course will be taught as an on-demand remote class during Fall Semester 2026, MWF 1:00PM-1:50PM

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Prior experience teaching History of Psychology
  • Have a strong background in the historical foundations of psychology, including major figures, schools, and the development of psychological theories and methods over time
  • Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring
  • This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
