About The Position

Teach Psych 342: Psychopathology. Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. Topics include: diagnostic criteria, theoretical models, empirical findings, and ethical considerations related to mental health. Prepare students to think critically about psychopathology in both clinical and cultural contexts, with sensitivity to faith-informed understandings of human behavior and suffering. Assist students with their volunteer experiences in a mental health setting. Requirements

  • MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to teach about the classification, causes, and treatment of psychological disorders across the lifespan.

  • This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with teaching in Psychopathology is preferred.
  • Preference is given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of the affiliated church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
