About The Position

Teach Psych 111 (Psychological Science). Have the knowledge and ability to teach about the foundational principles of psychological science, including the history of psychology as a science, basic research methods and designs, general brain anatomy and functioning, biological bases of behavior, cognition, perception and attention, human development, emotion, personality, psychological disorders, general principles of health psychology and positive psychology, social relationships, and social behavior. Instruction should emphasize critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and real-world application. Help students explore how faith and reason can work together in understanding human thoughts, feelings, virtues, and behaviors. This course will be taught as an on-demand remote class during Fall Semester 2026.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

  • This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
