About The Position

This position involves supervising, supporting, mentoring, and debriefing baccalaureate nursing students at a clinical site in Utah County. The role includes time spent at the clinical site, grading clinical assignments, and other responsibilities as determined by the course coordinator. Clinical shifts are typically 14 hours and last for 13 weeks during the semester. This position does not involve teaching specialized clinical content, as that is covered in related didactic courses. The successful candidate will be required to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • RN License in the State of Utah.
  • At least three years of nursing experience.
  • Must reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
  • Must have completed the required degree by the start date.
  • Must be able to provide an updated curriculum vitae, cover letter, and Mission Alignment Statement at the time of application.
  • Must abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Must support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • If a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • Preference given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
