About The Position

This position involves French course development and French teaching for French 101-321. The role requires working with Course Coordinators & SI Supervisor to develop curriculum and materials for both classroom and online versions of French 101–321. The successful candidate will also observe and prepare course materials for other courses, teach French courses at the 300-level or lower, and develop course content and materials for French courses. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Second Language Acquisition or related field (completed by start date).
• Curriculum development experience for Advanced-low to Novice French.
• Proven knowledge of second-language teaching theory and best practices, including ACTFL guidelines.
• Advanced-level language skills (ACTFL rating).
• Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Extensive experience in teaching French at the university level.
