About The Position

This position involves developing curriculum and teaching French courses at the university level. The role requires creating materials for both classroom and online versions of French 101-321, observing and preparing materials for other courses, and teaching French courses at the 300-level or lower. The successful candidate will work with Course Coordinators & SI Supervisor to develop content and materials. This position requires the candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Second Language Acquisition or related field (completed by start date).
• Curriculum development experience for Advanced-low to Novice French.
• Proven knowledge of second-language teaching theory and best practices, including ACTFL guidelines.
• Advanced-level language skills (ACTFL rating).

Nice To Haves

• Extensive experience in teaching French at the university level preferred.
