About The Position
Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites applications for the part-time position of Adjunct Teaching Faculty in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department. This role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, utilizing established curriculum while incorporating personal expertise and experience. The position is part-time, and openings are filled on an as-needed basis. Qualified applicants will be contacted when a course opening is anticipated. Requirements
- Master’s degree in related discipline required
- Prior experience teaching college-level courses required
Nice To Haves
- Significant practical experience in the relevant area
- Successful undergraduate or graduate teaching experience
- Abilities to teach in other areas is also valued
- Experience with online teaching and the Canvas learning management system preferred but not required
- PhD in related discipline preferred
Responsibilities
- Teaching from established curriculum but with addition of personal expertise and experience
- Provide students with timely feedback

Benefits
- Compensation: $7,500–$10,000 per course
