About The Position

This position involves teaching a 3-credit class, CYBER 247 (Networks and Security), from October 13, 2026, to the end of the semester. The faculty member will instruct students in person during designated class times (Tuesday/Thursday, 2-3:50 pm), provide office consultations and student mentoring, administer course materials such as homework and projects, evaluate student work, and administer exams. The role also includes overseeing Teaching Assistants assigned to help with labs and classes. Adjunct faculty are not required to attend faculty meetings or participate in research or citizenship responsibilities. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

BS Degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ Years of experience working in the networking, cybersecurity, and/or information technology field.
Successful candidate must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
