About The Position

This position involves teaching CYBER 247, a 3-credit class on Networks and Security, from October 13, 2026, to the end of the semester. The faculty member will instruct students in person during designated class times (Tue/Thu 2-3:50pm), provide office consultations and student mentoring, administer course materials such as homework and projects, evaluate student work, and administer exams. The role also includes overseeing Teaching Assistants assigned to help with labs and classes. Adjunct faculty are not required to attend faculty meetings or participate in research or citizenship responsibilities.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ Years of experience working in the networking, cybersecurity, and/or information technology field.
• Degree must be completed by the start date.
• Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
• Must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend (if a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).
• Must abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
• Must support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
