This position is for an Adjunct Teaching role in the Design Department, specifically for the course DESPH 475: Location Production. The role involves teaching majors on a part-time basis using department-approved curriculum. Course instruction covers basic camera operation, exposure techniques, principles and elements of composition, visual communication, digital photographic considerations, shooting products in a studio, and interface with Adobe Lightroom. Responsibilities include lecturing, creating assignments, grading, critiques, and communicating with students via email. Part-time faculty are not required to hold office hours, attend staff meetings, serve on committees, or mentor students. The successful candidate will be required to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
