Adjunct faculty will teach a range of courses for the Department of Art, including ART 101 (Introduction to Art and Drawing for Nonmajors), ART 102 (Introduction to Art: 2D), ART 110 (Introduction to Painting for Nonmajors), ART 215 (Painting Fundamentals), and ART 317 (Painting). Courses may be taught during the day or evening. Adjunct faculty are expected to use department-approved syllabi and materials, mentor students, and attend department training meetings in August. An additional curriculum prep and training contract will be created for the selected hire in the month prior to the first semester taught. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
