About The Position

This position involves instructing contemporary modern dance at various levels, from beginning to advanced technique, and potentially creative process courses. The role requires maintaining office hours commensurate with the teaching load, attending faculty meetings, and instructing multiple classes per week. The successful candidate must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • BA or BFA required; MFA in Dance preferred.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Two years of teaching in a studio, college, or university setting is preferred.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
  • Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.

Nice To Haves

  • MFA in Dance preferred.
