About The Position

This position involves teaching CS 401R: Topics in Computer Science. The role includes preparing and delivering course content, answering student questions, supervising Teaching Assistants, and assigning grades. The successful candidate will be expected to relocate to and reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field (degree must be completed by the start date)
  • Experience teaching Computer Science courses
  • Practical work experience in machine learning
  • Understanding of the fundamental models of machine learning and how they are implemented and maintained in commercial systems
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
