About The Position

This position involves teaching CS 356: Advanced Techniques in Human-Computer Interaction. The role requires preparing and delivering course content, guiding students through an open-ended project from initial design to functional prototype, and facilitating design and critique sessions. Duties include teaching classes, responding to student inquiries, overseeing Teaching Assistants, and assigning grades. The successful candidate will be expected to relocate to and reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Expertise in website design, information architecture, and how to design for the broader ecosystem of use.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.

  • PhD degree preferred.
  • Preference given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
  • Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
