About The Position

This position is for an Adjunct Teaching role in Computer Science, specifically for the CS 340: Software Design course. The role involves teaching classes, answering student questions, supervising Teaching Assistants, and assigning grades. The position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Computer Science.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Software design.
  • Expertise in Software design and Software Design Patterns.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Successful candidate must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and hold a current temple recommend (for members).
  • Must abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Must support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD degree preferred.
  • Preference given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
