BYU's Department of Church History & Doctrine is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Church History & Doctrine courses, specifically Rel C 200 (Eternal Family) and Rel C 333 (Living Prophets). Classes may be offered during the day, in the evening, online through BYU Online, or at the BYU Salt Lake Center. The department is committed to furthering the mission of Brigham Young University and BYU Religious Education by teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ from the scriptures and modern prophets. The goal is to help students develop faith, become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ, and strengthen their ability to find answers, resolve doubts, and respond with faith. Candidates are asked to describe their qualifications and interest in teaching the Foundations of the Restoration course in their cover letter, including academic training, past teaching experience, and other evidence of competency.
