About The Position

Adjunct Radiologic Technology Lab Faculty Supervisor: Program Director/Academic Dean Lab location is Charleston, WV. Labs are held at West Virginia Junior College-Cross Lanes and Thomas Orthopedic Hospital-Saint Francis Campus. Labs are held on specific Saturdays (not all Saturdays) from 7:30am-4:30pm. Job Purpose Assist the Radiologic Technology Program Director and other faculty members in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum; to develop strategies to teach the curriculum; and assist in the implementation of the course through teaching, supervising, and provision of academic advisement of students.

Requirements

• Graduates of an accredited radiography program
• Hold a baccalaureate degree
• Have a current ARRT certification in radiography or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography
• Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising

Responsibilities

• Assist the Radiologic Technology Program Director and other faculty members in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum
• Develop strategies to teach the curriculum
• Assist in the implementation of the course through teaching, supervising, and provision of academic advisement of students
• Meet all organization goals
• Adjustments or additions to these responsibilities and the methods by which they are achieved may be required by management to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency across departments, campuses and the organization as a whole.
