Requirements

• Completion of a Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma
• Certification: EFDA and/or CDA and/or RDA and DANB RHS
• At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting, chairside
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred but not required
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach Dental Assisting courses.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
