Requirements
- Associate's degree in a healthcare related field
- Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare facility
- Current certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) through the AAMA
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in a healthcare related field
- Three (3) years of recent employment in a health care facility, including a minimum of one (1) year in an ambulatory health care setting performing or observing administrative or clinical procedures as performed by medical assistants.
- Current certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) through the AAMA.
Responsibilities
- Provides instruction including hands-on activities and theoretical concepts.
- Provides classroom management with administrative tasks such as developing syllabi, class schedule, lesson plans, and learning assessment.
- Prepares and/or maintains current course syllabi for course taught.
- Ensures that course is taught in accordance with the establish syllabi.
- May teach on-campus, and/or teach as distance learning.
