About The Position
Adjunct Professor for online college writing and public speaking courses within the College of Business. This is a temporary, part-time position responsible for teaching online, asynchronous courses. The role involves course setup, quality review, weekly engagement on discussion boards, grading, providing individual feedback, regular communication with students and administrators, and various administrative functions related to reporting and student engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in English, English Education, or Communications
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience required
- Online teaching experience required
- Must submit a cover letter outlining specific courses qualified to teach, direct background creating and teaching in an online setting, and teaching philosophy
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in Canvas Learning Management System highly desired

- Teaching online courses including Introduction to College Writing and Public Speaking
