About The Position
The Department of Environmental, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for Adjunct Professors. The standard teaching load is 1-2 courses per semester. The successful candidates will be expected to begin work in September 2026 and assist in teaching courses focused on geology and environmental science.
Requirements
- Earned an MS or PhD degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or closely related disciplines.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations
