Requirements

Associate’s degree or higher in Respiratory Care
Must hold current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care
Must be licensed to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Texas.
This position is Security Sensitive, therefore, candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
If selected for a dual credit course(s), an additional background check requiring fingerprinting with the TX DPS will be required from the assigned ISD.
Conferred transcripts and all required certifications MUST be attached to the application.

Teaching experience is desired.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
May include Dual Credit courses.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures and core values.
