We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about vocal music and directing a choir, who values diversity of repertoire and audience, uses creative and inclusive pedagogical approaches, and actively accommodates the needs and interests of our students. This position reports to the Director of Music Program and the Chair of the Arts Division and will maintain productive communication with the music department, including with the other adjunct ensemble directors and vocal faculty. This is an Adjunct Professor Position with a one-year renewable contract starting AY 2026-2027 (September 6, 2026 – May 13, 2027). There are no responsibilities during winter break, December 22, 2026 – January 19, 2027, or during the summer months. The Director is responsible for conducting all rehearsals and concerts, and for the necessary administrative responsibilities that support the musical education mission.
