About The Position

Ayers Career College is seeking Adjunct Instructors for its Pharmacy Technician Program. This role offers an opportunity for industry professionals to share their experience and teach students seeking education and training for entry-level employment. Instructors are responsible for delivering classroom and hands-on lab instruction, ensuring students acquire necessary knowledge and skills. They must also uphold sound educational practices, foster student academic development, manage the classroom environment, and promote a positive and engaging learning experience. This includes providing support, tutoring, and assistance as needed, while modeling professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of students.

Requirements

• A license, diploma, certificate, or other degree from a recognized institution or organization in the area taught
• 4 years of documented occupational experience in the area taught
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstration of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
• Ability to work in an observation/coaching style environment
• Capability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work within deadlines
• Superior organizational and problem-resolution skills
• Basic computer software skills including Microsoft Office
