About The Position
The Department of Economics seeks applicants for part-time teaching in its undergraduate program on the Northeastern New York campus. Applicants qualified to teach economics classes in any field are encouraged to apply for consideration as openings arise. Adjunct faculty prepare and administer assigned classes, including administering exams, holding appropriate office hours, and grading. Classes are taught on the Northeastern New York campus. Positions are contingent upon enrollment, funding, and programmatic need.
Requirements
- A master's degree is required for undergraduate teaching.
- The successful applicant must maintain valid U.S. work authorization throughout the appointment without visa sponsorship from Northeastern University.
Nice To Haves
- A Ph.D. degree in Economics is preferred.
- College-level teaching experience is preferred.
