About The Position

Bowie State University has a reputation for providing a high-quality education to undergraduate and graduate students and we are seeking educators who share our commitment and mission. We are seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Adjunct faculty to teach online programs in the following areas: Business, Management, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, and Project Management.

Requirements

• M.A., M.S, M.Ed., with at least 18 hours in their respective areas and professional experience in the field of study.
• Certifications and industry experience required where necessary.
• Strong communication skills, ability to provide mentorship and guidance remotely by email, phone and or video call, and willingness to offer extensive feedback on student work required.
• ABD’s will be considered with appropriate 18 hours in the specific field.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate degree preferred in related field.
• Prior college teaching experience is strongly preferred.
• On-line teaching experience and/or Quality Matters certification strongly preferred.
